Sunfish computer case (2009)
A client came to us with a mobile computer device to be sold at a very low cost in third world countries. The design brief was to create a durable housing for the device. I looked to objects like the pelican case, rugged hiking apparel and exoskeletal forms for inspiration. The case was to be constructed of dense rubber in order to be as durable as possible.
